Our Team

Tom Neufeld joined the Nakamun Group in 1995 as an Investment Advisor working closely with Greg Farries and other members of the Nakamun Team. Tom has over 22 years of financial service experience having worked for an insurance and investment agency and then in retail finance. Prior to joining The Nakamun Group, he worked as a senior client service office with the securities division of a major bank and is now a full service Investment Advisor under IPC Securities Corporation.

As a result of his experience in advising branch personnel and clients, he realized the tremendous potential of a specialized firm such as The Nakamun Group (which ended in March 2013). Over the years, Tom has worked very hard to bring both a strong commitment to client service and a strong technical background in the investment and financial planning field.

Tom’s educational qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), the industry’s highest mark of distinction.

Born in Calgary, Tom has served as a past director of an Alberta children’s charity as well as volunteering for other worthwhile charitable causes.
